Bandera to launch “LIGHT DUTY LINE” – a cutting-edge foil extrusion line for the production of multi-layer foil for thermoforming applications, capable of covering the whole range of sector-applicable thermoplastics, e.g. PET, PLA, PP, PS.
The line has been delivered in June to the end user and will be working from the month of July 2012.
The new acquired BANDERA’s customer named OSKU PACK is an important transformer based in Chile, with an experience able to satisfy a well structured sales-net, covering a big part of the world wide dedicated fruit packaging market.

Bandera: the evolution of the market for agricultural film and plans for the future
Despite the global economic crisis, the market for coextrusion equipment for agricultural purposes is proving to be ripe soil for Bandera and a sector in which the company has experienced positive growth for many years. This has reasserted Bandera’s leading position in this field.
Currently, the majority of requests for agricultural film equipment are for multi-layered coextrusion equipment, because the applications of mono-layer film occupy an increasingly low and limited market sector. The modern preference is for triple-layer equipment, because this type of film meets most of the current requirements for agricultural film, but future development will be focused on 5-layer configuration.

Bandera at the Milan PLAST 2012
Bandera will feature the latest innovations in their production plan for the blown film, foil/ sheet and pelletizing sectors next May, at the Milan International Exhibition “Plast 2012”, in Hall 15 of the new Exhibit Hall in Rho (MI).
For the blown film sector, they will show a complete line, running, with 3 extruders for multilayer film applications in technical flexible packaging (i.e.: lamination film, heat shrink film, stretch hood film).
