Bandera at the Milan PLAST 2012
Bandera will feature the latest innovations in their production plan for the blown film, foil/ sheet and pelletizing sectors next May, at the Milan International Exhibition “Plast 2012”, in Hall 15 of the new Exhibit Hall in Rho (MI).
For the blown film sector, they will show a complete line, running, with 3 extruders for multilayer film applications in technical flexible packaging (i.e.: lamination film, heat shrink film, stretch hood film).
This new design line features both extremely-high output and top quality film extrusion, in terms of minimum thickness tolerances, layer distribution, optical (i.e.: transparency) and mechanical finished product properties. Such line comprises 1 100-mm extruder and 2 65-mm extruders, a 400-mm extrusion die equipped with a new design cooling ring and a double station winding system.
This line is designed to produce 15 – 200µ multilayer film with a net winding width of 2600 mm and an output well over 700 Kg/h.
A supervision system with PC integration completes the profile of this top level blown film line.
For the sector of rigid foil/ sheet for thermoforming and industrial applications, Bandera will show a complete line for PET/PP/PS/PLA foil/ sheet up to 3-layer co-extrusion.
This extrusion line is equipped with the latest co-rotating L/D 52 twin-screw version, featuring a top level melt purification and comprising a special, horizontal cooling and polishing roll stack calender, equipped with a cross axis system allowing the extrusion of extremely thin PET foil, as well as extremely thick PET sheet (i.e.: 120 µ ÷ 1600 µm) with a net width ranging up to 1420mm.
This line will be capable of reaching an output range up to 1200 Kg/h and will be equipped with an in-line film lamination system, a last generation, fully automatic revolver winding and reel collection system and a supervision system with PC integration. This foil/ sheet extrusion line will be shown at the open house event planned to take place, concurrently with the Milan PLAST 2012 Exhibition, within the BANDERA production facility in Busto Arsizio.
Bandera will provide a personalized shuttle service between the Milan PLAST 2012 Exhibition Hall and their production facility for any exhibition visitors interested in seeing the foil/ sheet line running (the Bandera facility is located only at a 10-minute drive from the Rho, Milan International Exhibit Hall).
The following extrusion equipment will also be shown at the Bandera booth at the Milan PLAST 2012:
- Twin screw co-rotating extruder 2C85mm 52 L/D for foil/ sheet and pelletizing applications
- Counter-rotating twin screw extruder 2B 90 mm with 28 L/D screws dedicated to pelletizing or PVC pipe extrusion
- Last generation, cooling and polishing, horizontal configuration, roll stack calender, suitable for production of high to low thickness, extremely high-output foil/ sheet with cross axis system.
