Bandera Open House on 23/24 November 2011 + Forum on rigid and foamed thermoformed packaging

Bandera will be much pleased to introduce its ground-breaking multilayer PET extrusion line by the end of November. The event will take place at Bandera premises in Busto Arsizio – a not-to-be-missed occasion for Bandera customers and prospects to appreciate high tech Bandera innovation on show.

The exhibited line comprises Bandera top high-tech foil extrusion equipment for rigid and foamed thermoformed packaging:

-         Four-component "loss-in-weight" gravimetric dosing system for co-rotating twin-screw extruder (series 2C 85mm – L:D 1:52)

-         Three-component batch-type gravimetric dosing system for single-screw co-extruder (series TR 65mm – L:D 1:35)

-         No. 1 co-rotating twin-screw extruder for the foil inner layer (series 2C 85mm – L:D 1:52)

-         No. 1 single-screw extruder for foil outer layers (series TR 65mm – L:D 1:35)

-         Ground-breaking venting system for melt purification

-         Superfiltering screenchanger equipped with self-cleaning rotary plates for enhanced melt purification

-         Co-extrusion block (up to 3 layers)

-         Single channel flat die equipped with internal decklers and feedblock.

-         Horizontal cooling and polishing calender for the production of PET / PP / PS / PLA foil, equipped with cross axis system.

-         Twin PE film laminating system: hot lamination or by rubberized pressure roll.

-         Four-station winding system for reels up to 1500mm diameter.

-         Control panel with supervision system.

FINAL PRODUCT / APPLICATION: multilayer PET/PP/PS/PLA foil intended for industrial applications and thermoforming

HOURLY OUTPUT: 1200kg/h (PET)

FOIL NET WIDTH: 1100mm max

THICKNESS RANGE: 150µm ÷ 1500µm

The line will be introduced on the occasion of the “Forum on rigid and foamed thermoformed packaging for food and industrial applications” event, which will take place at SHERATON HOTEL MILAN MALPENSA on 23 and 24 November 2011 (Bandera is just a few minutes’ drive from Sheraton Hotel).
