Bandera’s company is proud to announce that one of it’s long time customers – who’s being active in the Russian region of Togliatti in the production of sheet for industrial applications – has recently purchased an extrusion plant designed for rigid or expanded PET,PP and PS foil.

The line’s final product will be thermoformed food packaging.

Following the wet tests at Bandera’s facility in Busto Arsizio, the line will be tested again at the customer’s establishments where the beginning of the production is expected to start around half of January 2012.

The line’s throughput is estimated to be 1300 Kg/H as far as PET is concerned, while it goes to 800 Kg/H with PP and 900 Kg/H with PS.

The actual extrusion die and downstream allow us to reach the maximum foil width of 1450 mm while the plant’s semi-automatic cantilever winding system allows us to reach bobbins with a maximum diameter of 1200 mm.

After 12 years of experience in the production of foil extrusion plants, Bandera is  probably the only company who can offer such a wide range of thickness concerning the materials used for the production of food packaging (PET: 120µm÷1500µm, PP: 250µm÷2000µm, PS: 150µm÷2000µm, PLA: 180µm÷800µm) in addition to a safe, easy to use and highly efficient polyolefinic film lamination process.

Profile of Company
Bandera has been operating since 1947 producing extrusion lines for plastic materials, with particular attention to the area of flat die plants for thermoplastic foil and sheets.
