HDB Film Extrusion Lines
HDB film has widely and rapidly developed over the most recent years, driven by the employ of increasingly sophisticated and high speed bagging and sacking lines by end users. Recent developments have lead to the request for increasingly severe film characteristics – such as mechanical properties, weldability, processability and printability.
The above mentioned evolution has consequently increased costs that can be on the other hand reduced by the coextrusion process (i.e. employ expensive process materials only when strictly required) and reduced thickness (however kept under continuous control to ensure sack strength) and, above all, very high production capacity.
Bandera has found out the perfect solution: an extrusion line exclusively dedicated to these needs and able to guarantee very high quality and outputs (exceeding 300kg/h).
The standard line configuration includes a three-layer coextruder with flat head (170-180mm diameter die equipped with IBC), rotary take-off unit and single-station automatic winder for reels whose diameter is up to 1500mm.
Over the most recent years, Bandera has worldwide supplied several turnkey production lines and full factories, thus acquiring extraordinary expertise and becoming protagonist in HDB specific sector.

The above illustrated turnkey project includes two 3-layer coextrusion lines exclusively dedicated to the production of HDB tubular film.
Extruders are sized on the basis of reduced die dimensions (die diameter: 170mm). More precisely, they are designed for higher-performance mid layer (extruder diameter: 65mm) and two side layers with lower output (extruder diameter: 50mm).
The extrusion head is equipped with IBC to reach higher outputs.
The oscillating take-off unit is complete with additional cooling devices and single-station winder.
The tower frame is 10.5m high (at take-off service platform).
