New PVC Pelletizing Lines
Bandera designs and manufactures complete rigid and soft PVC pelletizing lines for several and various applications.
Process core consists of the twin-screw extruder featuring parallel counter-rotating twin screws with increased length (L/D 1:28). This extruder outstands for enhanced product quality (material jellification in the barrel is step by step and under lower stress conditions) and for high productivity with elevated flexibility in recipes.
Bandera counter-rotating twin-screw can process both rigid and soft PVC with the same screw profile at high hourly outputs.

A standard complete pelletizing line includes:
- Variable-speed horizontal volumetric dosing unit.
- Variable speed force feeder for slow-flow dry mixes

Bandera parallel counter-rotating and intermeshing twin screw extruders for PVC powder and/or granule pelletizing from the 2B series comprise:
- An open-structured electro-welded steel base frame to ease inspection interventions on speed reduction unit, torque distributor assembly complete with thrust block and closed-loop forced lubrication by on-board control station.
- Extrusion barrel made from nitrided steel; alternatively, in case of heavy duty process requirements – e.g. process materials with fillers, or regenerated materials, etc. – the barrel can be manufactured in bi-metal alloy high resistant to corrosion and wear.
- Barrel heating is obtained by special ceramic electric resistance heaters equipped with special dissipator fins.
- The thermoregulated extrusion screws are made from nitrided steel, with wear resistant coating obtained by plasma welding.
- The wheeled barrel withdrawal system allows for screw and barrel convenient cleaning and inspection interventions.
Extrusion line control is by supervision system and user interface (Operator Panel or touch screen industrial PC).
